Review Policy/Other Info.
At this time I am not accepting new review titles on Book Reviews By Bobbie. I will not be accepting new titles for the foreseeable future as I receive a steady supply of review titles from several publishing companies on a regular basis and it keeps me very busy.
Pinnacle: Author & Book Promotion was created to handle book review offer-overflow and multiple requests for other types of publicity; I can’t review even half of the books I am offered and have to turn many authors away.
If you would like me to review or promote you and your book, please choose from several different options at my associate site Pinnacle: Author & Book Promotion.

Review Policy
I am an Author & Book Promoter, a Freelance Writer and an Independent Book Reviewer; I review because I love books, care about authors and I hope to help others make informed decisions about the books they purchase with their hard-earned money.
I cannot promise a rave review, but I will promise to write an honest one.
I write positive and negative reviews and I try my best to find at least one good thing, even about a really ‘dreadful’ book. It is important to remember that any review is still generating interest for the book(s).
I try my best to review every solicited book that I accept for review. If I am unable to get through the book, I will notify the book-sender.
A self-published book has a slightly higher likelihood of being rejected for review as they may not have gone through the usual rigorous editing and revision processes which can make reading the book, very arduous indeed.
♦♦ Please note that I only accept professionally bound, paperback or hardback editions (ARC’s and Galleys are welcome). I am sorry, but I do not accept e-books or PDF’s.
♦ I always e-mail a copy of the review & the URL on the same day that I post the review up on my blog and on Goodreads.
♦ I am very choosy when it comes to the books that I review for free.
♦ ARC’s and Galleys have the highest priority and are usually reviewed within 30 days before or after the publication date, unless otherwise requested.
Clarification
Thank you for being patient with me as I read and post my reviews…
Please note that: Any or all of my reviews may contain teasers and/or spoilers.
>>I do NOT sell the ARC’s or Galleys that I receive.<<

Would you be interested in my recently published “Shrink: Odyssey of a therapist”? It is a pychological thriller about the early life, education, and training of a psychologist, his treatment and dream analysis of a criminal psychopath, and his own personal emotional crisis.

Hi Marvin Rosen,
I have sent you an e-mail regarding your book review request.
Thank you very much for contacting me about “Shrink: Odyssey of a therapist?”.
-Bobbie
Hi Marvin,
This is to call to your attention my novel about women in the Bible:
THE TRIUMPH OF DEBORAH
If you would like to consider the book for review I will be happy to send in a copy.
Recently published by Plume/Penguin, it offers a daring interpretation of the riveting tale of one of the most beloved biblical figures: the revered leader, judge and prophetess Deborah, who led her people to war and also to peace.
In ancient Israel, war is looming. Deborah has convinced warrior Barak to launch a strike against the neighboring Canaanites, who threaten their people with destruction. Against all odds he succeeds, returning triumphantly with two daughters of the defeated king as his captives. But military victory is only the beginning of a personal turmoil, of which Deborah becomes part. Yet she struggles to build her existence on her own terms, while also groping her way toward the greatest triumph of her life: the attainment of peace.
Following the lead in the bible (Judges, 4-5) the novel pays tribute to the feminine strength of Deborah from which women today may derive inspiration. Despite the difficult conditions for women prevailing at the time, she “cracked the glass ceiling” over three thousand years ago. What all women can learn from Deborah is that no matter what the field in which they choose to realize their potential, no matter what is right for them, they can draw on their inner strength to achieve it.
THE TRIUMPH OF DEBORAH comes in the wake of my two previous very successful biblical novels, THE SONG OF HANNAH and THE GARDEN OF RUTH, which have already had six printings, each).
The novels are not just for those with an affinity to the Scripture. They all have intriguing plots, have frequently been referred to as “page turners” and are written in a light style, first and foremost for reading pleasure.
Yet, in a rather painless way, they impart some knowledge of history in biblical times.

Hi Eva Etzioni-Halevy,
Thank you for contacting me with the request to review THE TRIUMPH OF DEBORAH.
Marvin is not the author of this blog, nor does he review on my blog; he is another author who has contacted me with the request to review his book.
As stated in the genres I review, I do not review Christian/religious books; as a reviewer, I am not a good fit for these types of books.
I wish you all possible success with your novel.
All My Best,

(Book Reviews By Bobbie)
Hello Bobbie,
I recently wrote a memoir of sorts. Titled “Bookworms Anonymous”, it explores eight meetings of our uniquely styled book club and includes anecdotes about small-town life, menus, recipes, and instructions for setting up a similar club. It’s a celebration of reading and friendship and is written in a light, easy-to read manner.
At the moment, my book is being printed; if you are interested in reviewing it, I will mail it to you as soon as I receive the shipment.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your time.
Jan Kellis
